Caregivers Honored at Annual Elder Caregiver Luncheon

November is National Family Caregivers month and for the past 12 years the Triad Retirement Living Association (TRLA) has held an annual luncheon to honor caregivers for their selfless service in providing compassionate care for seniors.
This year’s luncheon was held at Christ United Methodist Church in Greensboro on October 11. Over 160 people attended the event honoring over 30 caregivers from the Triad who were nominated by family members, home care agencies, co-workers, senior living communities, or industry professionals. The main event sponsors were Well-Spring Solutions and Griswold Home Care.
“Each year we honor and recognize the caregivers in the Triad who demonstrate compassion, love and support to those in need,” Said Stephanie Franklin, President of TRLA. “The caregivers are often unknown or unnoticed heroes who sacrifice to do good for another human being.”
Guests visited with vendors and enjoyed a wonderful lunch and music by Rob Massengale Band. The following caregivers were honored for their compassion, support and dedication to caring for family members, friends, loved ones and patients:
