The Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County is hosting Beyond the Garden Gate, a tour of nine private gardens in our community, on April 30.

This tour is the first major fundraiser by The Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County in a decade. The tour offers visitors an opportunity to wander through these private gardens at their leisure and enjoy the distinctive way each garden has been created.

The evening of April 29 a black tie optional Gala will be held, featuring the Charlie Culbreth band and dinner by Holly Tate Fine Catering. On Saturday during the tour, enjoy an English Afternoon Tea in a beautiful pool courtyard. A separate tickets must be purchased in advance for this special afternoon tea that will include savory tea sandwiches, scones, traditional sweets, and of course tea, served by local garden club members at reserved times.

While touring these amazing gardens and others, don’t miss the chance to purchase a raffle ticket for a complete custom designed rose garden, made possible by The Perfect Rose. For the experienced gardener, or the weekend amateur, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
