Celebrating National Foot Health Awareness Month

National Foot Health Awareness Month

You Can Become Pain-Free Easily and Naturally in Just One Visit!

April is National Foot Health Awareness Month which makes this the perfect time to get your feet back in shape.

Picture your body as a tall building with your feet as the foundation. If the foundation of a building is not level and strong, the building becomes unstable as weight shifts in an attempt to keep the structure properly supported. The same is true of your body. Your feet support your entire body. When your “foundation” is misaligned, unstable, and imbalanced, it can cause chronic problems throughout your body. This can lead not only to foot pain but knee, hip, back, shoulder and neck pain also. When our feet hurt, our whole body hurts!

The Biomechanical Analysts at Natural Foot Care pinpoint the root cause of your pain and usually correct it in just one visit! They have even helped many people with plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, Parkinson’s (balance), etc.

Sherry Kinnaman, the owner of Natural Foot Care, didn’t start out to be a biomechanical analyst. In fact, it couldn’t have been any further from her mind. She spent years personally dealing with back pain and sciatic nerve pain. When she received immediate relief after visiting a biomechanical analyst, she started telling her friends about it. She was such an ambassador for biomechanical correction; she decided to change careers and help others become pain-free too. She trained to become an analyst and ultimately opened her own practice.

Sherry explains in the presentations she gives to corporate clients that a person’s center of gravity needs to be on the strongest part of the foot. The analysts at Natural Foot Care shift a person’s center of gravity to the area of the foot where three of the four arches meet. This realigns the feet, supports the arches; and, in turn, realigns the body which helps eliminate the stress and wear and tear on the joints of the body.

The amazing results Sherry’s patients have experienced have garnered her not only local and state attention, but national attention as well. People have come from all over North Carolina and across the country to receive biomechanical correction from her. Sherry also participates in numerous corporate health fairs, workshops, and special events and offers lunch ’n learn programs to companies and other groups. She participates in the Southeast Regional Integrative Medical Conference helping doctors, their staff, and patients become pain-free.

Sherry says, “People come in our office in pain and usually leave pain-free!” She has even helped golfers improve their game! Golfers know that the key to a straight drive is balance. Accurate and powerful shots begin from the ground up, starting with your feet. By improving your balance and stability, you can hit straighter, longer shots. Your golfing buddies might even accuse you of taking professional lessons after seeing the improvement in your game!
A local hair stylist, who spends 13 to 14 hours a day on his feet, came to Sherry experiencing pain ranging from his feet to his back; and he even suffered with headaches. He said, “I never put it all together … that my back pain was related to my feet.” After becoming pain-free, his skepticism turned to joy. “What she did caused my feet to stand differently. I took on a different posture. My plantar fasciitis was gone! Plus, my toes had been numb for many years; and I can feel them now!”

Along with correcting a person’s gait, alignment, balance and weight distribution, Sherry also instructs patients how to select the perfect shoes for their foot type. She teaches how to get the proper fit and even how to lace and tie shoes (there are 47 ways; but you only need to learn one!). Her assessments are two-thirds corrective action and one-third education. Sherry and her staff love helping people feel better and resume the activities they enjoy. Making such a difference in people’s lives is what it is all about to them!
